Business card is probably one of the best way of advertising your goods or service. Therefore, it is essential that you should design your personal card in a way that will attract much attention and be memorable. But how to do this, when the card is so small for both including your contact information, service description and leaving space for creativity? The answer is simple. – Just employ some experimenting. Invent something that would make your personal card worth attention. However, you should not go too far with design gimmicks to avoid being perceived as a lightweight businessman.

Insert an Attractive Picture.  To make it, use half of the business card for a nice picture, while the other half is left for your contact information. Pay special attention at a dividing line: it should be soft and smooth. The picture you chose should be interesting and fascinating. And Some Contrast to Avoid Looking Generic. For example, you can simply divide your business card in two parts of contrasting colors. You can make your card look more interesting by simply making the half of it black and the other half white. Then print white and black letters on the black half and the white one correspondingly. If it seems to look a little strange you may try to reposition the information on your card for it to look right.

Center or Offset the Information. By playing around with offsetting you can keep the important aspects of the card while experimenting with an unusual look. If your name and logo are smack dab in the center of your personal card, try moving them all the way over to the left and putting your contact information on the right.

Experiment with Verticals. For example, you may try to print your tagline or name perpendicular to the text on your business card. It is a good way to both make your personal card look out of the ordinary and include all the necessary information.
