Orange is the symbol of enthusiasm, vitality, balance, and warmth.
Since orange is a merry and amusing color, it is not suitable for applying to some serious matters.
Orange, along with red and yellow is believed to exert influence on the autonomic nervous system, which works up an appetite.
It is interesting to note that:
- Orange is often used in high visibility clothing and other safety equipment.
- Orange is also a round fruit that has a hard orange-colored skin
- Fast food restaurants use the ability of orange to stimulate appetite.
- Orange is of religious significance among Irish Protestants. The Orange Order is a political organization in Northern Ireland for Protestants who want Northern Ireland to remain part of the UK. Its members are called Orangemen.
- The Orange Prize is a prize given every year in the UK for a novel written by a woman.
