Red is a symbol of energy, dynamics, power, speed, passion, urgency and excitement.
Red is a provocative color.
Red is considered to be the warmest and most vigorous color.
Red raises blood pressure, speeds up human metabolism and respiration.
It is interesting to note that:
- If you are “in the red” you have spent more money than it was available.
- Red herring is something that is not relevant that makes you confused or takes your attention away from what you should be concentrating on.
- Red is the most common color of national flags.
- In China red is a sign of festivity and fortune. Red packet is a present of money inside a red envelope given to your younger relatives who are not married at Chinese New Year or at a Chinese wedding.
- In ancient Rome a red flag was a signal for fight.
- In India red is seen as the color of cleanness.
